(Not that I&#8217;m going to stop posting after today or anything&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>So, I&#8217;ll cop out, and instead post a question.<\/p>\n<p>What textbook(s) are you currently using for Microbiology classes, and what do you think of them?  My &#8220;Introductory Microbiology&#8221; class was over 8 years ago, but the textbook was Tortora, Funke, and Case &#8211; &#8220;Microbiology: An Introduction (sixth edition)&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I found it annoyingly heavy on the &#8220;disease-listing&#8221; and way too sparse on the rest of the microbial world &#8211; though they did have a couple of chapters on applied\/industrial type microbiology.<\/p>\n<p>Please leave comments&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>My posts will likely be pretty sparse until after Wednesday, when I have back-to-back Microbial Genetics and Pathogenic Microbiology exams.  Ick.
